Welcome to Dewayne’s Digital Photography Corner. When I was growing up in a very, very small Midwestern town, all of the old-timers would congregate and try and top one another’s stories while watching the traffic pass by. Most of the traffic served to generate another storyline or trigger another memory as the vehicles went by. The stories would continue long after the vehicles were gone.
People who know me best know that I don’t have hobbies, I have obsessions. Two years ago, I completely immersed myself in the world of digital photography, and I still only come up for air occasionally. I have been regularly shooting pictures for about 15 years, but once I made the digital transition, there was no going back.
I understand there is a lot to learn when it comes to digital photography. New language, new cameras, even new processing and post-processing (image editing) computer programs are always coming out. It can be intimidating. That’s where I come in. I’ve spent tons of time and money learning everything I can about this hobby of mine. I don’t just want to see that information wasted on me, but I’ll gladly share it with anyone who has a couple of extra minutes and a question or two.
So, grab your favorite soft drink, sit back, relax, and see what questions we can get answered…
